SENT WITH THE MESSAGE OF THE GOSPEL
“SENT WITH THE MESSAGE OF THE GOSPEL”
ROMANS 10:13-17INTRO: In preparation for our upcoming MISSIONS CONFERENCE, over the last three weeks I have been preaching on a subject that is VERY CLOSE TO THE HEART OF GOD…MISSIONS. We have defined MISSIONS as “THE LOCAL CHURCH, MADE UP OF INDIVIDUAL BELIEVERS IN JESUS CHRIST, INVOLVED WITH FULFILLING THE GREAT COMMISSION OF EVANGELISM, CHURCH PLANTING, DISCIPLESHIP AND RELATED MINISTRIES.” The last two weeks we have been observing how the Book of Romans teaches about missions and today we are going to continue the in Romans by studying chapter 10:13-17 under the title of SENT WITH THE MESSAGE OF THE GOSPEL.”

A DISSERTATION ON MISSIONS BY WAY OF A MESSAGE ABOUT UNBELIEVING ISRAEL
“A DISSERTATION ON MISSIONS
BY WAY OF A MESSAGE ABOUT UNBELIEVING ISRAEL”
ROMANS 10:1-13INTRO: The more I read PAUL’S LETTER TO THE CHURCH AT ROME, the more I see the MESSAGE OF MISSIONS woven in the text of that GREAT DOCTRINAL EPISTLE. The overall THEME OF ROMANS is “THE GOSPEL OF GOD” and IN EVERY CHAPTER OF THE EPISTLE, one can find an APPLICATION ON MISSIONS, if the text is studied accurately with AN OPEN EYE FOR TRUTH. Romans chapter 10 presents to us a VERY STRONG DISSERTATION ON MISSIONS BY WAY OF A SPECIAL MESSAGE TO ISRAEL Let’s observe this dissertation of the HOLY SPIRIT by the writing of the APOSTLE PAUL and draw an application to PRESENT DAY NEW TESTAMENT, LOCAL CHURCH MISSIONS FOR BOTH JEW AND GENTILE.

THE HEART OF MISSIONS IS THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
“THE HEART OF MISSIONS IS THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST”
ROMANS 1:1-17
TEXT: VERSE 16INTRO: MISSIONS is a subject that should be known and understood by every church and every child of God. And yet, there are many churches and children of God who do not know a lot about nor understand MISSIONS and what’s worse, they are not concerned about MISSIONS. This is evidenced by:
● The lack of emphasis on missions by many Churches
● The lack of interest in missions by many Christians
● The lack of response to missions by many ChristiansSermon preached on 3/5/23 AM by Pastor Gary Dull

WATCH GOD WORK
“WATCH GOD WORK”
EXODUS 14:1-31
TEXT: VSS. 13-16INTRO: On a daily basis, people find themselves STARING IN THE FACE OF TROUBLE. In some cases, others know about the trouble, and yet in some cases, no one else knows except the person, the family or the group that is facing the trouble. BUT TROUBLES ARE A PART OF LIFE. In John 16:33 Jesus said, “IN THE WORLD YE SHALL HAVE TRIBULATION: BUT BE OF GOOD CHEER: I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD.”
All too often we allow the TROUBLES OF THE WORLD to overwhelm us and in doing so, we miss out on the joy God has promised us, we allow the trouble to blur the working of God in our lives, sometimes we actually fall into sin because our focus is taken away from the Lord, and consequently we become of no effect for the Lord. I would venture to say that we all have been there at one time or another in our lives. So how should we face those troublesome times? Certainly not by our own strength, but rather by the strength and provision God sends our way. The lesson we all NEED TO LEARN is that WHEN TROUBLE COMES, WE SHOULD OBEY GOD, WATCH HIM WORK AND TRUST HIM TO WORK OUT THE DETAILS. My message title today is WATCH GOD WORK.Sermon preached on 2/5/23 AM by Pastor Gary Dull

MORE FOR CHRIST
“MORE FOR CHRIST”
PHILIPPIANS 1:8-24INTRO: The desire for each child of God should be TO DO MORE FOR CHRIST as we grow and mature spiritually. DOING MORE FOR CHRIST does not necessarily mean ACTIVITY (though it can have that meaning). More significantly, the expression MORE FOR CHRIST involves MAINTAINING A LIFE THAT IS MORE COMMITTED TO ALL THAT CHRIST IS AND EXPECTS FROM US. Such was the APOSTLE PAUL’S DESIRE, which is a great example for us to follow. Among other places in scripture Paul’s desire to do MORE FOR CHRIST is seen in our text for today, which we shall observe in this sermon.

THE BATTLE AGAINST ABORTION AND THE BATTLE FOR LIFE
“ THE BATTLE AGAINST ABORTION AND THE BATTLE FOR LIFE”
GENESIS 1:26,27; 2:7;PSALM 139:13-17; JOB 33:4INTRO: Today is the ACTUAL 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ROE V. WADE, BY THE UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT THAT LEGALIZED ABORTION IN AMERICA – JANUARY 22, 1973 – JANUARY 22 2023. Specifically, in Roe V. Wade the Supreme Court ruled that THE U.S. CONSTITUTION GUARANTEED THE RIGHT OF A LADY TO HAVE AN ABORTION. It was based upon the “DUE PROCESS CLAUSE” of the 14th Amendment that, THEY SAID “PROVIDES THE FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT TO PRIVACY THAT PROTECTS A PREGNANT WOMAN’S LIBERTY TO ABORT HER FETUS.” Such an interpretation is a HUGE STRETCH OF THE REALITY OF THE CLAUSE. For FIFTY YEARS, PRO-LIFE AMERICANS MARCHED, PRAYED, PREACHED ABOUT AND PROTESTED THE LEGALITY OF ABORTION. Then on JUNE 24, 2022, THE SUPREME COURT REVERSED ROE V. WADE THAT WAS BAD LAW FROM THE BEGINNING. TO GOD BE THE GLORY! BUT THE BATTLE AGAINST ABORTION IS NOT OVER AND STILL RAGES STRONG. Though we PRAISE THE LORD for the Courts Decision, this is NOT THE TIME TO BECOME COMPLACENT. The PRO-ABORTION CROWD has battoned down the hatches and is stronger than ever. Today I want to speak on THE BATTLE AGAINST ABORTION AND THE BATTLE FOR LIFE.

PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
“PRAY WITHOUT CEASING”
1 THESSALONIANS 5:17INTRO: I want to begin this message by asking you a question that is VERY DIRECT and BEFORE GOD DESERVES AN HONEST ANSWER! THE QUESTION: HOW IS YOUR PRAYER LIFE? With an HONEST EVALUATION, WHAT GRADE WOUD YOU GIVE YOURSELF FOR YOUR PRAYER LIFE? From the perspective of THE BIBLICAL WORLD VIEW, PRAYER IS TO BE THE MOST CONSISTENT PART OF THE CHRISTIAN’S LIFE! This is seen in the text that we have before us today that we want to consider: PRAY WITHOUT CEASING! DO YOU?
EXPOSITION OF 1 THESSALONIANS 5:17:
● “TO UNCEASINGLY PRAY”
● To ALWAYS be in touch with GodSermon preached on 1/8/23 AM by Pastor Gary Dull
