DOUG AND CHERYL
BOISVERT'S Overview
Doug Boisvert was called and sent out by the Lord and Springville Baptist
Church in Pennsylvania into a specialized ministry in
missions with EBM, called Mobile Modular Ministry (or Tri-M). Doug has been
appointed Tri-M African Director. Doug’s responsibilities center around
teaching African Pastors and church leaders right in their own countries in a
module setting so they can continue ministering where God has called them to serve
Him. while receiving systematic training. The initial goal is to bring
the pastors this training to
better handle the Word of God. However,
Tri-M also seeks to do this in a way that releases them with materials they can
immediately use to teach and disciple others in their ministry after Tri-M
leaves. So the long-term goal is to assist these men in setting up their own
training program that fits the needs and situations of their countries.
Cheryl Boisvert
teaches the wives of the church leaders once a year in a specific country,
usually alongside an auxiliary Tri-M teacher's
wife. In the past four years, Cheryl
has been involved in teaching ladies in
Liberia, West
Africa. Since that time,
the Boisverts have seen the
ladies ministries flourish and continue on their own, with older women teaching
younger women. Starting in June
2006, Cheryl has begun traveling with Doug to teach in Rwanda and
possibly the bordering DRC as well. Find out more information at opur web site http://tri-m-africa.ebm.org
